Lxn also known as Latexin is a member of the protease inhibitor I47(latexin) family. Lxn's function ishardly reversible, non-competitive, as well as potent inhibitor of CPA1, CPA2and CPA4. Furthermore, Lxn plays a role in inflammation. Among the diseasesassociated with LXN are endocervicitis and listeriosis.
