Heptamethine cyanine dye-1 (ADS 815EI) has a long triplet-state lifetime, a high singlet oxygen quantum yield, and low dark toxicity, has shown the targeting ability for mitochondria in intracellular subcellular localization and exhibits good tumor targeting and bioavailability by coupling some compounds,such as TPP[3][4]. These properties make Heptamethine cyanine dye-1 (ADS 815EI) suitable for tissue imaging, photodynamic therapy, and drug delivery systems[5-7].
