Introduction

CMC4 is a downstream 8kDa protein restricts to mitochondria which was identified by participation in some t(X;14) translocations related with mature T-cell proliferations. This region has a compound gene structure, with a common promoter and 5бп exon spliced to two different groups of 3бп exons which encode 2 separate proteins.
