2-deoxy-D-Glucose-6-phosphate (sodium salt) is a derivative of 2-deoxy-D-glucose and possesses good water solubility and stability [1]. 2-Deoxy-D-Glucose-6-phosphate can accumulate within the cells, resulting in cell cycle arrest and inhibition of cell growth[2]. 2-Deoxy-D-Glucose-6-phosphate has been widely used as a model compound to investigate the characteristics of the binding sites and kinetic parameters for glycogen phosphorylase b[3].
