Flurprimidol

Flurprimidol, also known as fluoropyrimidine, is a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic growth retardant. It is a substitute for Ancymidol, and its activity is 2-4 times higher and more stable than Ancymidol. Furimol inhibits the biosynthesis of gibberellin by suppressing cytochrome P450 dependent monooxygenase (a type of enzyme that catalyzes the oxidation of kaempferol to kaempferol), leading to inhibition of internode elongation. Furimol not only delays plant growth, but also helps improve bulb formation. There are literature reports that treatment with furosemide (10 μ M) increases bulb formation in scallion bulbs, but has no effect on differentiation degree. Furimol can also be used as a growth regulator for green grass.

呋嘧醇(Flurprimidol)，也称为氟嘧醇，是一种含氮杂环类生长延缓剂。是嘧啶醇(Ancymidol)的替代物，其活性比嘧啶醇高2-4倍且更稳定。呋嘧醇通过抑制细胞色素P450依赖的单加氧酶(催化对映贝壳杉烯氧化生成对映贝壳杉烯酸的一类酶)，进而抑制赤霉素生物合成，导致节间伸长的抑制。呋嘧醇不仅能延缓植物生长，还能帮助改善鳞茎形成。有文献报道，呋嘧醇(10μM)处理葱鳞茎增加鳞茎形成，但对分化程度无影响。呋嘧醇还能用作青草的一种生长调节剂。
