Description

Cyclolinopeptide B is a cyclic nonapeptide with significant biological activity [1]. Cyclolinopeptide B inhibits the activation of T cells and B cells and downregulates the expression of immune-related genes (such as IL-2 and IFN-γ) [2]. Cyclolinopeptide B is commonly used to treat cancer [3].

In Sk-Br-3 cells, Cyclolinopeptide B (25, 50, 100, 200, 400μg/mL; 24h, 48h) has concentration dependent cytotoxicity [4]. In human gastric SGC7901 cells, Cyclolinopeptide B (40, 80, 120, 160, 200, 240μM; 24h, 48h) induces apoptosis by activating Fas, FasL, caspase 8, and caspase 3 [5]. In human gastric SGC7901 cells, Cyclolinopeptide B (80, 120, 200μM; 24h) isolated from flaxseed induce G1 cell cycle arrest on SGC-7901 cells by modulating the AKT/JNK signaling pathway [6].

Preparation Method

The cultured cells were inoculated in 96-well plates, with 10,000 cells per well for the Sk-Br-3 cell line. After the inoculated cells grew to 70-80% confluence, they were treated with LOB for 24 hours and 48 hours, respectively. For Sk-Br-3 cells, the Cyclolinopeptide B administration concentrations were 400μg/mL, 200, 100, 50, and 25μg/mL, respectively.
