Murrayone is a coumarin that has been found in L. japonicus and has fungicidal and antiplatelet activities.1,2 It is active against the plant pathogenic fungi T. cucumeris and C. capsici (EC50s = 46.9 and 24.9 ?g/ml, respectively) but not S. sclerotiorum, B. cinerea, or F. graminearum (EC50s = >50 ?g/ml for all).2 Murrayone also inhibits ADP-induced platelet aggregation in vitro.1
